Our X-550 Pb is available by request for trained professionals. With one instrument in the fleet, we verify the calendar before issuing a quote. The rental is released only after credentials, coverage, signed agreement, payment, and destination requirements are checked.
Tell us where the device will be used and what work is planned. We will itemize insured outbound and return shipping and applicable taxes in the approved quote.
The rental provides an analyzer to qualified professionals. For NYC Local Law 31 work, HPD still requires an independent EPA-certified inspector or risk assessor and proper testing records. Renting equipment alone does not fulfill the law.

Operator qualifications, local registration or notification rules, transport, coverage, and permitted use depend on the destination and project. We review those requirements with each rental. An inquiry is not a reservation, and no device is released before the agreement and verification are complete.

Can I book and pay instantly?
Not yet. Submit a request and we will verify availability, qualification, destination rules, coverage, and shipping. We send a Chase payment link only after approval.
Who pays for shipping?
The renter pays insured shipping both ways. The amounts are itemized in the approved quote.
Is the weekly rate for seven days?
Yes. The advertised $945 rate covers a seven-day rental period. Longer periods are quoted.
Do you provide insurance?
At launch, renters must provide proof of equipment coverage for the rental. We do not offer a renter insurance product on this site.
Can I rent the analyzer to inspect my own NYC rental building?
The device rental does not replace the independent EPA-certified inspector or risk assessor required by HPD. If you need an inspection performed, request our XRF inspection service. Read the Local Law 31 rental FAQs ↗
