We collect dust-wipe samples on site and arrange lab analysis. Every job includes a formal report, so the result arrives with documentation you can use for your records.

Dust wipes measure lead in settled dust and may be part of clearance after regulated paint work. They do not replace the XRF inspection required for covered properties.
PRICING

The formal report is required on every dust-wipe job and included in the public starting total.
Additional samples
$9 for each sample beyond 15.
24-hour rush lab option
+$100 when the lab and courier confirm availability. The lab clock starts when samples are received by the lab, not at collection.
Timing and access
A morning appointment may permit same-day shipment when the courier cutoff allows it. We confirm logistics in the quote.

Is the formal report optional?
No. Every dust-wipe job includes a $150 formal report fee. The starting total shown here includes it.
Does 24-hour rush mean a report 24 hours after the appointment?
No. Rush refers to lab turnaround after the lab receives the samples and is subject to confirmed courier and lab availability.
Will a dust-wipe report satisfy Local Law 31?
No. Local Law 31 calls for XRF testing of painted surfaces by an independent EPA-certified inspector or risk assessor. Dust wipes address lead dust and, in applicable cases, clearance after paint work. See how the services differ ↗
